Just like the variety show and the western, live studio dramas were a mainstay of network TV once upon a time and brought the likes of James Dean and Paul Newman to national prominence. "Studio One" was among the best there was and it's a crying shame so much of the footage was lost. We should be appreciative of what remains and make the effort to see the performances that made television great. Thanks, Doc, for taking the time to bring this great DVD release to our attention.
