Talk about dog days: Sony's "Premonition," the universally panned mind-game thriller starring Sandra Bullock, sped to the top of both home video charts for the week ending July 22. Fox's horrid horror sequel "The Hills Have Eyes 2" skinned the No. 2 slot in sales and rentals.
Paramount's sturdy "Shooter" repositioned itself at No. 3 in sales. "The Last Mimzy," a time-warp family film from New Line, burrowed down to No. 4 after topping the sales chart last time around.
"Premonition" also was the top-selling Blu-ray for the week.
Thomas K. Arnold has the story over on The Reporter's site.
